Review Guidelines.

How to write reviews that help the entire trading community — and get published faster.

Last updated: September 2026 • Version v3.0

Why these guidelines matter

Brokergrade is built on trust. Our reviews help thousands of traders choose the right broker. Whether you had a great experience or a frustrating one, your honest feedback matters — as long as it follows these simple rules. Following the guidelines means your review gets published faster and helps more people.

Do

  • Be specific — mention spreads, fees, execution speed, and support quality.
  • Share your real experience — describe what actually happened to you.
  • Stick to facts — separate your opinion from verifiable information.
  • Mention how long you have been trading with the broker.
  • Talk about both positives and negatives.
  • Write in clear, respectful language — the whole community reads it.
  • Update your review if your experience changes over time.

Don't

  • Post false or fabricated experiences.
  • Use profanity, threats, or personal attacks.
  • Include referral links, promo codes, or spam.
  • Share personal information (yours or anyone else's).
  • Post multiple reviews for the same broker.
  • Review a broker you have never used.
  • Copy content from other review sites.
01

Who can write a review

Any registered user may submit a review. To keep reviews authentic, we encourage you to have an active trading account with the broker you are reviewing. Reviews from users who have never used the broker may be marked as unverified or rejected during moderation. You do not need to be a professional trader — you just need to have genuine experience.

02

What to include

A high-quality review typically covers: your overall rating and why; your trading experience with the broker (duration and products traded); the quality of customer support you received; deposit and withdrawal process; spreads, commissions, and other fees; and the trading platform experience (MetaTrader, cTrader, web, mobile). The more specific you are, the more useful your review is to other traders.

03

Writing style

Write in a clear, respectful tone. Keep your review between 150 and 2000 characters — long enough to be useful, short enough to be read. Use paragraphs instead of one big block of text. Avoid ALL CAPS, excessive punctuation, and heavy emoji use. Review titles should summarise your experience in one line.

04

Moderation process

Every review goes through moderation before publication. Our team checks for: authenticity (does this look like a real experience?), spam and promotional content, personal information, hate speech and profanity, and legal concerns (defamation, false claims). Moderation usually takes 24–48 hours. Reviews are marked as pending, approved, or rejected.

05

Editing and deleting

You can edit or delete your own review at any time from your dashboard. Edited reviews show an "edited" tag with the update date. If your review is rejected, you will see the reason and can submit a corrected version.

06

Reporting violations

If you see a review that violates these guidelines, click the "Report" button on that review and provide a brief explanation. Reports are confidential. Abusing the report button — for example, to attack a broker you dislike — may result in your own account being restricted.

07

Consequences of violations

Depending on severity and frequency, violations may lead to: removal of the offending review; a warning; temporary suspension of your account; or permanent ban. Serious cases (spam, defamation, fraud) may also be reported to the relevant authorities.

08

Broker responses

Brokers may respond to reviews through an official representative account. Broker responses must also follow these guidelines. If a broker contacts you directly and pressures you to change or remove your review, please report it to us immediately at abuse@brokergrade.co.uk.
